Program description
This is an intervention program designed for UJ’s education students majoring in Physical sciences for FET. Its intention is to create enthusiasm in students and lure them into majoring in Physical sciences till third year level through time-unbound tutoring on social media (preferably WhatsApp). It is also aimed at narrowing the gap between content and real life experience. In executing this program, we functioned closely to lecturers; Mr Mphiriseni Khwanda, our science academic mentor.

Tea-Sterl is a program consisting of young educators and student teachers aiming to create awareness and continuous support to enhance educators’ use of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) and teaching on a shoe-string. The program also aims to enhance relevance of subject content through “fun” filled instructional engagements. The program aims:
